10th Annual Community Cleanup!
SATURDAY, April 24TH, 2010 (Tentative)
It’s time for the 11th Annual Pequot Lakes/Breezy Point Cleanup! On Saturday, April 24th, from 9:00am to 3:00pm, the Pequot Lakes/Breezy Point Lions Club will once again be assisting you in getting your house/garage/attic/yard/etc. ready for winter! The Community Clean Up will be located at the Pequot Lakes High School parking lot and you can bring tires, mattresses, appliances, furniture, scrap metal, demolition debris, fluorescent bulbs, computers, and electronics. Sorry, we cannot take hazardous waste. The Salvation Army will also be on hand accepting gently used clothing and household items. For more information, call the Pequot Lakes Breezy Point Lions Club at 218-568-6842. Fees will be charged for items on a per item or load basis. Proceeds benefit the Pequot Lakes/Breezy Point Lions Club, which means that all proceeds will stay to help our community!

Cherry Car Show 2010
June 5th, 2010 at Trailside Park, corner of Hwy 371 and Co. Rd. 11
Registration: 7:00AM, Show runs 9:00–4:00, Fee: $10.00
Within a couple blocks of the beautiful Trailside Park, there’s a wide variety of retail shops, restaurants, a historical museum, a WWII and Depression War Memorial, and so much more! The City of Pequot Lakes is the located in the center of the Brainerd Lakes area where fun is easy to find. World Championship Ice Auger Contest
Saturday, JANUARY 8th, 2011, at Breezy Point Resort, on the ice!

We will be doing registration from 11:00am until Noon, competition from noon to two (or so). Trophies will be awarded for first and second place in the six adult categories:
Woman’s Stock Auger
Men’s Antique Auger
Men’s Stock Auger
Kid’s Hand Auger
Woman’s Hand Auger
Men’s Hand Auger
Modified Augers will be ran in between at random times.
1st prize is each adult category wins a trophy and a variety of prizes.
2nd prize wins a trophy.
We will also have a children's competition with prizes for all as well.
